She didn’t know that she will be a handball player right away. She started training karate when she was seven and trained until she turned 10, got her blue belt, and started taking interest in sports involving a ball which she found very interesting. Volleyball was a sport that she found interesting for two whole training sessions, but if the basketball hall was any closer to her home, handball would definitely have lost one of its’ biggest stars. Basketball and tennis, which she also trained for a while, are still some of her favorite sports.
“I am very competitive. I never liked losing. Not even as a kid. I could never accept defeat. My only motto I say to myself is FIGHT. You need a clean consciousness and a pure heart. That’s the way I look at it. It’s as if being a professional athlete was written in stone for me. I love watching sports, I love the challenge a competition poses for me, I love the energy in that type of life. I live for this.”
